Each year the Charlotte County Jazz Society provides financial assistance to promising members of the Senior Class in the county’s High Schools who wish to pursue careers in music or in music education. Applicants must be residents of Charlotte County, Florida and graduate in the year 2025. Scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 each will be awarded to students judged to deserve a scholarship from the Society.

Our Scholarship Committee contacts with representatives from the local High Schools. They screen applications and hold auditions. In past years nine (9) to twelve (12) students have applied. Each then appears for an audition. Qualified students are awarded a Charlotte County Jazz Society scholarship.

We continue to seek musically qualified high school students ready to move on to college and either major or minor in music study. Certificates will be awarded at our last concert of the season, date to be determined.
